Bruce Pasetti has been a solicitor for over 20 years and is a legal practice director at Stratos Legal in the Brisbane CBD, a boutique firm specializing in finance, insolvency and commercial debt recovery.
Bruce spends the great majority of his professional time acting for insolvency practitioners, financiers, landlords and directors.
In addition to 20 years of experience specializing in insolvency matters, Bruce regularly advises on repossessions, PPSA matters, securities, and commercial debt recovery.
Bruce is a regular presenter on insolvency matters and has been active and is a regular leader the Advanced Certification course workshops that potential liquidators must undertake.
Outside of work Bruce can be found on the sidelines of the basketball court or watching slow racehorses.
Casey Cossu
Legal and Policy Officer, REIQ
Casey Cossu is a Legal and Policy Officer at the REIQ. Casey was a property and commercial lawyer for five years before joining the REIQ in January 2022, practicing primarily in residential, commercial, and business sale transactions.
As a part of the Legal and Advocacy teams, Casey contributes to the REIQ Advisory services, creation of new REIQ resources and advocacy initiatives.

Richard is the National Head of the Commercial Real Estate Segment at Macquarie Business Banking.
Richard has been working as a Corporate and Commercial banker for almost 20 years, having previously managed the Professional Services business within Macquarie Business Bank.
More recently Richard and the broader team at Macquarie Business Bank have been working to bring greater value to the Commercial Real Estate industry by way of insights and data to assist businesses and business owners succeed and adapt to the changes occurring in the sector.
Aaron Webb

Aaron Webb is a partner and co-leader of Thynne + Macartney's Property Group. He is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Property Law and has over 25 years' experience helping clients in the acquisition and disposal of commercial and retail properties and development sites. His experience in commercial and retail leasing includes structuring contracts for new projects and redevelopments, strata titled developments and property matters involving freehold and other tenures. His clients include individuals, large institutions and national companies.
Aaron sits on the Lexon Insurance Advisory Panel and authors the 'Leasing Risk Tools' resource for Queensland law firms.
Jason Carlson

Jason Carlson is a Partner at Chambers Russell Lawyers.
Jason has practiced exclusively in strata law since 2009 at industry leading strata law firms. His focus has been on dispute resolution, strategic advisory work and management rights disputes. He has led bodies corporate through some of the most significant pieces of strata litigation in Queensland over the last 15 years.
He was a director of Strata Community Association (Qld) for six years from 2016 and has been a director of Strata Community Association Australasia since 2022. He has played a significant role in shaping, reviewing and advising on legislative changes to Queensland’s strata legislation.
