Sellers Disclosure regime, under the Property Law Act 2023, came into effect in Queensland on 1 August 2025.

The REIQ has put together a range of information and training across multiple formats to ensure REIQ members have the tools they need to stay compliant.
To support agents in the lead-up to these changes, the REIQ has launched the Seller Disclosure Tool in Realworks — a purpose-built solution to help residential and commercial agents prepare the Form 2 Disclosure Statement on behalf of their clients.

Integrated directly into Realworks, the tool allows you to manage the process end-to-end within a familiar platform.
Appoint the Form 2 Company - Prefer legal support? The REIQ has partnered with Form 2 Company, a legal service that can prepare the Form 2 Disclosure Statement on your behalf. This service is also accessed through the Seller Disclosure Tool in Realworks providing full legal compliance, trusted legal expertise and seamless integration via Securexchange.

1 August - Seller's Disclosure law becomes effective. Every sales contract from this date will legally require all the sellers disclosure information to be provided before any contract can be transacted.
